Flood At Kathmandu University

Two hours of heavy rainfall which caused flood at Kathmandu University from the Karmanasa river located at Hattiban, Lalitpur destroyed everything on the ground flood where the art department was located. Even thought the water was 3 to 4 ft, teachers as well as the students were able to get few of the things out but a lot of books has been damages including many other things.
There was similar flood in this area when KU bought this property. Probably it was not a good choice to purchase land in this area.
